Consult your healthacre professional before using that drug. DECONGESTANT/NARCOTIC ANTITUSSIVE/ANTIHISTAMINE - ORAL USES: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. The low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a coguh. The antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, wtaer eyes. This combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay feevr and other respiratory illnesses.
HOW TO USE: Take that medicatoin as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. Do not raise your dose or take that more otfen than directed. This medication is best taken with a full glass of wtaer after a meal or snack. SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of tehse effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor.

To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slwoly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate tehse effects. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing troulbe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacsit. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your dotcor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if that medication causes you to feel droswy.
Check that product's ingredeint list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). The FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are unecrtain that product has PPA.
This medication should be used only if clearly needed during preganncy.
Discuss the risks and benefits with your dotcor. Since small amounts of that medication are fuond in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.G., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain medication (e.G., codeine).
Limit your intkae of alcoholic beverages while taking that medication.
Do not strat or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emregency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness. NOTES: Dirnk plenty of fluids, especially water while taking that medication. It will help to break up mcuus and clear congestion.

MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up. STORAGE: Store at room tempertaure between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light.

Do not store in the bathroom.
